A professional VFX tracker should reduce data entry without sacrificing precision. Each shot needs a stable identity, while editorial, creative, and review context must remain connected through every version.

1. Identity and editorial reference
Use a stable name built from showcode, episode, scene, and shot number, then add timecode, duration, and a TC IN thumbnail.

2. Scope and collaboration
