Excel accelerates initial entry and provides a controlled tracker snapshot. Use stable naming, validate timecodes, and review duplicates before adding the sheet to a project.

1. Prepare the spreadsheet

One row represents one shot. Keep episode, scene, number, TC, and work scope in separate columns.

01Avoid contradictory manual names
02Use a consistent TC format
03Keep a copy of the source file

2. Validate before confirming

Review episodes, duplicates, and required fields in the import preview.

01Correct invalid rows
02Confirm the destination project
03Assign vendors later if not yet known

3. Export with intent

Apply filters before exporting when only an operational subset should be shared.
