RushTrack supports two paths: Add shot opens the complete form, while the control between rows opens a compact editor exactly where the shot belongs. Both create the same record and start at version v001.

1. Choose where to create the shot
Use the top action for an isolated entry or the + sign between rows to preserve editorial order in a long list.
- 01The contextual editor shows previous and next shots
- 02The + becomes − while open
- 03Collapsing preserves the draft until cancel or save

2. Complete the identity
Enter episode, scene, and shot number. RushTrack builds SHOWCODE_episode_VFX_scene_shot.

- 02Scene replaces the former Sequence label
- 03Generated naming prevents manual variants

3. Save in context
The shot becomes available with version v001, pending status, and the selected contextual position.

- 02Save and add another keeps the entry flow open
- 03Column headers can reorder the list later
